What is a Street Team:
A Street Team is a group of proactive
music fans with common interests and lifestyles. With
members based all over the UK, the team works together
to promote bands & other projects in their local
areas.
How are our teams formed and
how do they work?
Teams are built through application
forms only available on this site. Applicants are added
to our database and, if successful, assigned to a team.
When a team becomes active, members will be notified
by email. We will then supply teams with materials (which
could include stickers, leaflets, posters, CDs, promotional
items, vouchers, tickets, competition prizes, etc…).
Each team member will be asked to complete simple tasks
with these materials and submit a simple online report
form prior to a deadline. Communication within the teams
occurs by group discussions on the message board and
through updates posted in the relevant news sections.
Tasks include giving out promo material at:
Gigs
Schools
Indie Bars
Skate parks
Shops
Record Stores
Youth Clubs
As well as spreading
the word on websites/online message boards/forums.
